The upcoming lineup at the Brooklyn Academy of Music promises the usual roster of impressive dance, music, theater, opera and residencies. The Royal Shakespeare Company and director Gregory Doran take up a six-week residency at BAM, performing Shakespeare’s epic four-play cycle: Richard II, Henry IV Parts I & II, and Henry V. Four nights are devoted to tributes to legends of Russian ballet, Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard is performed over 11 nights and DanceAfrica returns at the end of May.
